My friend of 6 years is heading to Puerto Rico to embark on a new life journey.
She is excited.
She will most likely be the happiest she has ever been in her life there.
I wish her all the luck and happiness in the world, for she surely deserves it.
Thank goodness we have electronic communication so readily available to help bridge the gap until we meet again.

This is what I look forward to each year! I am fortunate to live in a state that has some of the most stunning Autumn views in the world. 
This time of year always brings about reflection for me. In younger years past, it was mostly regret. 
Now, I am grateful for my life and everything that I have. I celebrate in little ways all throughout these couple months of change. Steaming mugs of coffee with spiced creamer, cuddling up by the fire with a book or my crochet.
